Survey 25 - "Would you be willing to re-locate and move elsewhere
should you find the job that's right for you and is not located
in your present area?"
Throughout July, we asked "Would you be willing to re-locate
and move elsewhere should you find the job that's right for you and
is not located in your present area?"
A huge majority of respondents answered, "Yes" to this
question, that they would consider re-locating should the right
job come up. In fact, 82% actually said "Yes", with only
18% saying "NO".
This does show that people will sacrifice a lot for a job that
is perfect for them. From a recruiters perspective, it may therefore
be restricting if the companies recruitment is only in the local
area.
